Traveling to Oahu, Hawaii

Honestly, this is the most beautiful island …. let’s call it paradise.

Jurassic Park
Luscious green forests
Friendly locals

Outdoor adventure galore
Picture worthy sunsets
Awe-mazing poke bowls
Traffic Jams
Crystal Clear Blue Water
Big Waves
Cleanliness

Outdoor Living
Hiking with awe droping views!
Waikiki Beach also known as the most beautiful sunset on the island.

Simply put, this is how I would describe my time visiting Oahu, Hawaii.

Life is meant for the living and let me tell you that over here they are not afraid of taking risks. Before I get into the best of the best during our visit to Oahu, Hawaii…

A quick note…Oahu is insanely beautiful and there are many great outdoor activities to choose from. However, being that we also wanted some time to relax, enjoy the beach, swimming and some fun pool time with the kids, we did not explore the other Hawaiian islands. But I would definitely recommend at least visiting 2 of them because it is GORGEOUS especially if you’re not planning on coming back anytime soon….lordy lord those are long flights with kids….

La Marsa, Tunisia – A suite to remember

This was a first to remember!

I remember being a little girl and whenever we would stay at a hotel with my family, we (the kids) always wanted to go to the top floor “just to see” where the presidential suite or penthouse was located.  I remember the feeling going up the elevator and thinking, wow, this is exciting.  I would wonder who you needed to be to actually stay in these large rooms.  I thought only celebrities, royalty and presidents stayed in these rooms.

So when we were looking for places to stay on our recent trip to Tunisia, Kais wanted to surprise me and book something luxurious.  Well it did not disappoint, it was grand, traditional and oh so beautiful that you never wanted to leave.  When he said that he had negotiated (he always loves a good deal) the rooftop Presidential suite for one week, I was throughly excited!  It reminded me of my childhood.  My favourite part was that it had an outdoor pool opened 24 hours, the breakfast was served near our room, we were on the rooftop and the breakfast selection was absolutely delicious!

Traveling to Tunisia: Monastir

Before meeting my partner Kais, whom is originally from Tunisia, I had never heard, let alone showed any interest in visiting this country.  Let’s be honest, it isn’t the most advertised country.  So for the next few blog posts, I wanted to let you discover through my photos more of this beautiful country.

Let me just start by saying that if you do not know anyone in Tunisia that can be your tour guide through the city or if you do not speak the language which is arabic (a tunisian dialect), then I would definitely recommend exploring this country with organized tours.  Thankfully, I had Kais who had family and friends giving us recommendations and renting a car made it incredibly easier for us to visit on our own.

Tunisia has little gems located throughout the country for tourist to discover it’s beauty.
