Okay, let’s talk real for a minute…

You probably wish that you didn’t have to listen to an episode like this right? About a crisis or about something bad, most often unpredictable and ‘can’t go back in time’ to make it normal again. Well, that’s just bubbles and living in a dream because life is about living and about dying and about all the in-between events that will and can happen to you, your kids and in your community.

We need to make memories in the good times that our kids can fall back on in the bad times.

Barbara Coloroso

I believe that strength is also about being prepared…well as best as you can and that’s being mentally strong for all of it…the moments of sadness, grief and sickness and the happy moments as well. Adding that you’ve got kids is also a whole other level of potential anxiety and pressure. So this episode is not just important BUT VALUABLE FOR YOU parents and grandparents and mothers to be.

If you want to reduce as best as possible the anxiety and confusion well this episode will do it for you. Barbara Coloroso is a mother, now grandmother and has seen her share of crisis over the years from 2 of her daughters being diagnosed with cancer before graduating (don’t woryy they are well today) to the life changing trip where she was asked to help out and decided to bring her son in Rwanda. They helped genocide victims and families and quickly learned the meaning of human resilience & how we can be strong ourselves and that ‘You Will Get Through It Too!’

Don’t worry this conversation is not dark and tough, it actually surprised me how powerful, happy and loving moments of crisis calls us to become better and better for our friends and family.

Barbara Coloroso is an internationally recognized speaker & bestselling author of 4 books on topics such as parenting, teaching, school discipline, non-violent conflict resolution and reconciliatory justice. She’s a mother, grandmother and has been speaking about these topics for over 45 years. She’s an educational consultant for school districts, medical and business community, criminal justice system among others. She’s been featured on Oprah, CBS, CNN, ABC, NBC, New York Times, Times, Newsweek and many more! She currently lives in Colorado, United States.

You will hear her say a few times that …

Life Is Good,

Life Is Unfair,

Life Hurts,

We Should Know That’s Life.
