Described as one of the most visionary schools for early education.

Have you ever struggled with confidence?

… think about a moment when you wished you had the self-confidence to speak up, show up, do it, change it, leave it, take the next step or as some might say that leap of faith. Well, if you’re a human reading this….then just like me and a million other people on earth, you have felt moments when that confidence boost and public speaking skill would have been extremely helpful.

Enter my guest Rennu Dhillon, a mother of 2, the founder & director of the internationally recognized preschool & after school programs for early education called ‘Genius Kids Inc.’ located in California (but classes now available online)!

When she started giving courses on public speaking and how to communicate for adults….parents quickly realized that her methods of teaching these skills would help their own kids. Et Voilà, Genius Kids was born where the 38 Genius Kids Schools & franchises teaches every student to Think, Lead & Communicate, resulting in greater self-esteem, confidence & performance to learn, achieve & care via her own personalized curriculums focused on early education ranging from 0-6 years and her after school programs up until age 12.

Confidence and public speaking has to start right from day ONE.

Helping Your Child To Be A Confident Speaker

You are as a mom, your own child’s first and primary educator….whether you like it or not. That’s the truth. So in this episode Rennu will share with you specific examples of what you can say to your child and what ONE item that you should have in your home to develop the confidence and skill in your toddler…oh yessss, she says that the earlier the better as they will become more confident in getting up in front of an audience, 1 or 3 or 10 or 75 to talk about anything they want. Getting your child to use their voice loudly and clearly will help them speak up when they want to share something with you and others.

How wonderful would it be if you had learn the art and skill & become confident in speaking in public as early as a preschooler? I bet there are a handful of situation in which that skill would have helped you or even help you if you are one that was a happy communicator. Now is your chance to give your child that opportunity to enjoy communicating with others!

How To Teach Preschoolers To Read

She is teaching 2 years old to read….wait what?

Why wait until your child turns five, 5 years old, to let him or her learn how to read words….remember speaking and the ability to communicate is important as soon as they can speak and walk. It’s not always up to teachers in school to do all of the work of teaching your child. Every time you open your mouth you are teaching your child new words.

We all have the same brain, it’s only a matter of how we choose to use it daily.

Life Skills That Will Help Them Succeed In Life

Overwhelmed yet about this whole raising a confident successful child yet? I totally get it, so I’ll simplify it for you in two words LIFE SKILLS. Are you teaching your child critical life skills that are not being taught in traditional schools…like public speaking and building their confidence, having good manners, how to have a proper conversation with someone in full sentence, having good posture, how to make eye contact with someone to whom they are speaking and basically how to package themselves as what’s special about them…

Okay, this might sound obvious…seriously I don’t even remember being taught any of these skills myself and that’s why I struggled with many of these later on in life as a working, relationship building and you need resiliency to survive adult world.

So if you’ve got no clue how or what to do then simply listen to this conversation where Rennu Dhillon shares simple tips and conversation cues to have with your child at home or on the way to work in the car ride. Nothing complicated just thoughtful communication between you and your child.
